Key Biscayne, FL (June 2009)

Our "graduation" trip to Key Biscayne was short, but sweet.

The Ritz Carlton was beautiful!

Despite the rainy weather, we still managed to get in plenty of beach and pool time!

Much of our time was spent enjoying the food. Lots of fresh CEVICHE... Mom's favorite!

Of course, no trip would be complete without a visit

to the nearest CHICK-FIL-A...

I have to do "what" with that worm?

The girls had been beggin BUBBA forever to go fishing, so they finally did.

I thought for sure they'd come home complaining about how boring it was and smelly, not to mention how horrifying it was to have to bait their own hooks.

But NO, they had a blast and were quite successful! GREAT!! Why can't they be this good at a DOMESTIC SPORT, like house cleaning, or laundry folding or pooper-scooper?

FIELD DAY 2009

Our final FIELD DAY... What a bitter-sweet day. The kids always have such a great time. Emphasis on the word "KIDS". The reality is, they are no longer Kids... Upon graduation, we enter the realm of "TWEENS"! GOD help us all!
