Duckpins vs. Tenpins

What ever happened to "duckpins"?

Do the "bowling people" not understand that 10 year old little Princesses can not lift, let alone roll, ten pound balls in a somewhat straight fashion?!?

And look... no BUMPERS!
More importantly, who exactly decorates a bowling ally? My gosh, those colors are enough to throw any bowler off her game!

What a sight to behold. Luckily, we had our "friend" Thomas to help us out.

He's just lucky I let him anywhere near my girls while wearing that Steelers jersey!!!

In the end, it was worth all the aggrevation (and Belle's final score of 38) as it was to benefit a worthwhile cause...

HERSHEY PARK HAPPY

We love HERSHEY PARK!

And even more, now that the twins have reached "TWIZZLER" status. That means they can ride ALL the roller coasters!

After lunch, we hooked up with our friends Chris & Jenny and their kids, Megan & Ryan. Miss Jenny is one of Daddy's co-workers.

Belle, Megan, Gabby & Ryan

Ryan thinks it's especially COOL to hang with the BIG girls!

The very best part of the entire day (for me anyway) was when Ryan decided to STRIP! The crowd was lovin it! Go Ryan, Go Ryan!

Jenny was finally able to convince him to put his clothes back on!

Even though the weather was "iffy" and a bit rainy, we all had a lot of fun!

Kaitlyn's big day

On Sunday, September 28th, we joined the Carmichael & Bachman families (along with many other family and friends) for the celebration of KAITLYN GRACE's baptism at St. Joseph's Church in Eldersburg

It was a beautiful service and it was made all the more special by the fact that Amy & Scott Morse were present to serve as Kaitlyn's Godparents. As many of you know, Amy & Scott lost their infant son in early June. Their family, along with all their friends, has been going through a very difficult grieving process. Jeremy was a very special baby!

Amy and Jen have been best friends for many years. It was wonderful to see Amy & Scott, as well as Trevor and Meredith, at the service and so willing to be a part of Kaitlyn's special day. They are truly amazing people!

After the service, everyone came back to our house, where we enjoyed a lovely lunch!

Secret Admirer Revealed

Jinxy's SECRET ADMIRER has been revealed. It's our neighbor MAGGIE

Although, you see she's trying to point the finger at her oh-so-innocent parents...

Jinxy's so happy... this is one squirrel she can easily catch. Don't worry Teddy... the "other" squirrel is still alive and bullying our Princess Puppy EVERY day!

Amy & Gary's wedding

We visited Lewisburg, WV - the site of Amy & Gary (Ditto's) wedding. Although the leaves hadn't yet changed color, it was a beautiful setting...
